St Loman's and Coralstown Kinnegad had to settle for a draw the last time the two met.
A tapestry of different generations have come together to bring Coralstown Kinnegad to a county final.
That's what their joint-manager Jack Cooney is saying ahead of this year's Westmeath Senior Football Championship Final.
There was nothing to separate themselves and nine time consecutive county finalists, St Loman's, when the pair met in the group phase of the competition.
Cooney, himself a former player with Kinnegad, has his son Brian Cooney on the panel, he says there's a number of players who brings a rich family history to Sunday's final.
Gerry Russell caught up with the former Westmeath manager to look forward to the game:
Throw-in is set for 2.15pm at TEG Cusack Park.
The Westmeath Senior Football Championship Final is sponsored by O’Brien Motor Group Mullingar - celebrating 60 years in business, inviting you to their huge Anniversary Event running from the October 2nd to 7th - pobrien.ie
