Two old foes are set to do battle in the final four.
Raharney have sealed direct passage to the senior hurling final in Westmeath, remaining unbeaten in the group phase.
They eked-out a one goal win over quadruple seeking Clonkill to book their first trip to the decider since losing out in 2018.
The result also condemned their opponents to a last four shootout with another one of the big three, Castleown-Geoghegan. They could do nothing in their 16-point demolition of Castlepollard to secure top spot in the six team group.
It means there'll be a repeat of the last two finals when the old foes meet.
Speaking to Gerry Russell for us after their win against Clonkill, Raharney manager Brendan McKeogh was pleased with aspects of their performance:
Group Stage Round 5 Results:
- Raharney 2-14 Clonkill 1-14
- Castlepollard 0-12 CTG 1-25
- Lough Lene Gaels 4-20 Crookedwood 1-12
Semi-Final:
Clonkill v Castletown Geoghegan
Final:
