The Galway man has worked extensively on promoting GAA at club, county, provincial and international level.
The former Connacht GAA Sports Development Manager and Galway Games Manager Damien Coleman has been appointed as Offaly GAA Operations manager.
Internationally, the Galway man worked on the expansion of coaching and games development structures in New York for over a decade. Additionally, he is a Trainer of Coach Developers, with the GAA and Coaching Ireland.
He served as Portumna Club Chairman and Club Coaching Officer over a 12 year period, while he also played hurling for club and county at all age grades.
Meanwhile, Offaly GAA has ratified its management committee for 2023 at the board's Annual Congress in O'Connor Park.
Michael Duignan will continue as Chairperson of the board, Colm Cummins as Secretary and Dervil Dolan stays on as the county's Treasurer.
