The Portlaoise star is heading to Liverpool in March to take on Nick Ball.
Laois' TJ Doheny will have the chance to become the WBA world featherweight boxing champion in March.
The former super-bantamweight title holder will face reigning champion Nick Ball in his home city of Liverpool on March the 15th.
Ball currently stands undefeated after 22 bouts, with 21 wins (12 KOs), and a single draw.
Doheny suffered the fifth defeat of his professional career in September when he was stopped by Naoya Inoue in their world title bout in Japan in September.
The Portlaoise man will be fighting in the western and northern hemisphere for the first time since his defeat to Michael Conlon in Belfast in 2021.
The former IBF champ has since fought six times in Japan, the UAE, and Australia.
