Dessie Dolan takes over the football post from Jack Cooney after a successful 2022.
Westmeath football legend Dessie Dolan has been ratified as the new Manager of the county's Senior Football team.
The Garrycastle clubman takes over from Jack Cooney, after working as selector in his backroom team this year on their way to claiming the Tailteann Cup.
Westmeath GAA confirmed the news last night, saying that his backroom team will be announced shortly.
Joe Fortune will also continue as Westmeath Senior Hurling Manager, as they look to build on a successful season this year.
