Dooley Injury Concern For Connacht As Shane Delahunt Moves Closer To Return

Peter Dooley has been involved in all five of Connacht's matches in the league so far, it looks like he'll miss out on Friday's contest with Scarletts due to a hamstring concern.

Ireland and Munster lock Tadhg Beirne is a doubt for their clash with Leinster this weekend.

Beirne has been sent for a scan on a groin injury which will concern national head coach Andy Farrell ahead of the November internationals.

Fellow internationals Iain Henderson, James Ryan, Kieran Treadwell and Ryan Baird are all out injured.

Munster are also sweating over the fitness of Craig Casey, Edwin Edogbo and Stephen Archer while Roman Salanoa is following the concussion return to play protocols.

Meanwhile, Birr's Shane Delahunt is making his way back to full fitness after a hamstring injury and the 28 year old could feature for Connacht on Friday.
