Covid-19 delayed the 2020 Leinster competitions until now.
It's a big weekend for a young camogie club in Westmeath.
Drumraney take to the field in their deferred 2020 AIB Leinster Camogie Club Championship Junior B Semi Final.
They face opposition from Louth in the form of St Brides.
21-year-old full-back and club captain Chloe Butler says they're just looking forward to playing in a provincial championship:
It's a very big achievement. This is our first year up and being competitive at senior, so even getting to compete in the Leinster championship is a big deal for us.
I don't really know too much about the opposition. I know they're a senior team in Louth playing in a junior championship here, so they should be a strong side but we haven't really looked into them too much. We will just go out and play our own game.
To be honest after winning last year, we didn't think we would get to play these games with covid. So we're a year on now and the teams are totally different. That's another reason why we haven't looked into them too much because watching games from last year, they could have a completely different team.
Us for example we've lost a few girls and gained a few too so hopefully they won't know what to expect from us either.
The club appears to be going rom strength to strength and picked up a 13-a-side minor title for 2021 last weekend.
Butler knows that it's something they need to capitalise on:
If the underage teams see that we're going well and they come to the games and we try and support them and go to their games.
I mean we're a small club so we trey and support one another as much as we can. Last year when we won a few of us went to the underage finals with the cup and went back to the community hall and did a drive by celebration with hem as well.
It's just a really great little club and i know sometimes people are like it's a very small club there's not too many coming, but there's a lot of football clubs involved so we have a bit of a pull in every direction.
