Alterations have been made to the rules around restarts.

Formula One's safety car rules have been changed to make it impossible for a race to finish in the same way as last season's controversial title deciding Abu Dhabi GP.

All lapped cars must un-lap themselves before a Grand Prix can restart.

Race Director Michael Masi was removed from his role after allowing only the cars between leader Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen to un-lap with the Red Bull driver going on to win the title.
