FAI To Review Video Evidence Of Alleged Racist Chants Towards Adam Idah

Republic of Ireland defeated Israel 3-0 last night.

The FAI say they'll review video evidence of alleged racism from Israel fans toward Adam Idah to determine whether they'll make a complaint to UEFA.

Jayson Molumby urged the referee to "listen" to chants heard late in the first-half of Ireland's 3-0 win in Hungary last night.

But because it wasn't reported on the pitch as racism, European football's governing body didn't open an investigation.

The FAI say they'll lodge a complaint, if there's evidence on the video recording of the match.

While Ireland boss Heimir Hallgrimsson says the last few days have been the "toughest" of his career.

Ireland’s players wore black armbands during last night's 3-0 win against Israel, didn’t shake hands and bowed their heads during Israel’s national anthem.

There had been calls to boycott the game to protest the ongoing war in Gaza, and goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu opted out of the squad for the fixture.

The players voted by a 14-9 majority to proceed with the game after a series of meetings on Saturday.
