Dean George came off the bench to hit a brace for the hosts.
A familiar face came back to haunt Athlone Town in their SSE Airtricity League First Division defeat to Treaty United.
Dean George hit a brace to send the Limerick side up to 4th in the standings.
The 23-year-old has enjoyed two separate spell in the midlands during the 2018-19 season and again between February 2020 and 2021. He was deemed surplus to requirements by then manager Adrian Carberry and found himself on the books of the newly re-established Limerick side.

It was the first game in which Athlone have failed to score this season, but became the sixth in which they've conceded at least two goals.
Manager Martin Russell will be working hard to improve their paltry defensive record, which has seen them ship 19 goals since their opening day defeat to Waterford, a record high in Irish football.
The midlanders are now without a win in seven games and risk being cut adrift at the foot of the table.
