Offaly's first competitive game of 2024 is against Sligo this weekend.
Greg Farrelly is looking to build momentum in the early stages of Offaly's Lidl Ladies National Football League Division Three campaign this year.
The returning Edenderry man believes the Faithful County weren't far off getting better results last year despite narrowly avoiding relegation.
Their first two games of the league season will be at home and their manager is hopeful they can register two early wins.
Sligo also struggled to maintain their Division Three status and come to Ferbane to take on Farrelly's outfit on Sunday.
He looks forward to the year ahead with Midlands 103's David Hollywood:
