First Round Sees Mixed Fortunes For Midlands Teams In Towns Cup

There were wins for Portlaoise and Tullamore, who overcame Navan and Longford respectively.

There were mixed fortunes for midlands clubs in the Towns Cup last weekend.

There were wins for Portlaoise and Tullamore, who overcame Navan and Longford respectively.

However Mullingar were seen off by Wexford and Edenderry lost out to New Ross.

For the second round Tullamore will face Skerries, and Portlaoise can look forward to a trip to Enniscorthy.

First Round Results:
Longford 10-18 Tullamore
