Fitzgerald Not Happy With Quick Turnaround For Laois Hurlers

Laois host Tipperary just six days after losing the Joe McDonagh Final.

Laois manager Tommy Fitzgerald says his side having to face Tipperary in the All Ireland preliminary quarter finals a week after their Joe McDonagh final is a joke.

The O'Moore county suffered defeat against Kildare in Croke Park on Sunday and will now face the Munster side with the winners set to take on Galway in the quarter finals.

No side that's lost the Joe McDonagh final has ever gone on to win a preliminary quarter final match the following week.
