The last final to take place in Russia was a 1-all draw between Manchester United and Chelsea in Moscow 14 years ago.
The chair of the Oireachtas Foreign Affairs committee says UEFA needs to act now:
It's something that's a low hanging fruit. I believe that should be switched to another European capital and to be honest, it's easily one at this stage before advanced planning takes place.
