Former GAA President Says It's Time For Amalgamation Of Bodies In The Sport

Laois' Liam O'Neill says the association needs to be updated.

Former GAA President, Laois man Liam O'Neill says the Ladies Gaelic Football Association should be a part of the GAA. 

It follows the controversy over the staging of the Cork - Galway game at Croke Park on Sunday. 

The counties were given just two hours to adjust to playing the match at HQ because Parnell Park was unplayable - and Galway, who were en route to Dublin, only had seven minutes to warm up. 

The Ladies Association is a separate organisation from the GAA.
