Peter Rice was president of the LGFA for three years.
Former president of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association Peter Rice has died.
The LGFA confirmed the Laois man's death on their social media page, which occured on Monday evening.
He served as president of the LGFA from 1991-1994, as well as managing the Wexford Ladies Intermediate and Junior teams.
The LGFA said he was "a true advocate for our sport and an inspiration to us all who worked closely with him over many years".
Peter's Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 12 noon in St. Fintan’s Church, Mayglass in Wexford.
