A retired Offaly rugby star is not pleased with the IRFU's decision to cease the Men’s Sevens programme.
Jordan Conroy who has twice represent Ireland in Seven's Rugby at the Olympics feels the move to discontinue the programme is unfair.
The men's program was discontinued due to budgetary difficulties, the union said, pointing out that the women's game does not have the same feeder lines as the province's academies, which act as player routes.
Conroy is describing the decision as a disappointing move:
