Richie Burnett was BDO World Champion back in 1995.
Former BDO World Champion Richie Burnett will play an exhibition in Offaly next month during a fundraiser for the Ken Smollen Food Appeal.
Burnett's list of honours include the 1995 title at the Lakeside, a World Masters title the year previously. After switching to the PDC he notched up tour titles most notably in Las Vegas in 2014.
His best finish in the PDC World Championship at the Alexandra Palace came in 2002 and 2003 where he reached the quarter-final stage.
It all takes place in the Corner House in Edenderry next month, December 10th. It's being organised by David King with sponsorship cards available and the Ken Smollen Food Appeal asking for people to come forward with raffle prizes on the night.
