The Meath club say Pat Flanagan had only just met with the players and executives to finalise plans for 2023.
A former manager of the Offaly senior footballers has found himself at the centre of controversy between a Kildare and Meath club.
According to Ballinabrackey, Pat Flanagan met with the players and club executives to finalise plans for 2023, last week.
Four days later, Sarsfields Newbridge announced that the ex-Westmeath and Offaly banisteoir is to take the Kildare club's senior footballers forward for next year.
Meath's intermediate champions of 2020 say Pat Flanagan lasted only "4 days in the job" and wanted their disappointed "noted".
