Four midlands athletes will be pulling on the green singlets for the European Cross Country Championships next month.
Newly crowned National Cross Country champion Cormac Dalton from Mullingar Harriers will be in the Irish men's senior squad, and Mary Mulhare from Portlaoise AC will compete on the women's squad.
Tullamore Harriers duo Ava O'Connor and Danielle Donegan are named in the U23 Women's team for the competition in Belgium.
The championship will take place in Brussels on Sunday December 10.
