Four Westmeath Fighters Flying Irish Flag At World Championships

Three boxers from Olympic Boxing Club and one from Rochfortbridge are heading to Montenegro.

Four fighters from Westmeath will be representing Ireland at this year's Under 19 World Championships.

Louise Joyce, Jason and John Donoghue from Olympic Boxing Club in Mullingar, along with Carley O'Herron from Rochfortbridge Boxing Club will all be flying the flag for Westmeath in Montenegro next month.

John Donoghue enters the competition as the reigning European U19 champion and 2023 World champion, while his brother Jason is double European medalist.

The tournament in Budva gets underway on the 14th of October.
