Frank Browne Steps Down As Westmeath Ladies Football Manager

Browne led The Lake County to back to back provincial titles.

Frank Browne has decided to step down from his role as manager of the Westmeath Ladies Footballers.

Browne leaves the role having guided the Lake County to back to back Leinster titles as well as reaching All-Ireland semi-finals over the past two seasons. 

In a statement on their social media, Westmeath LGFA Chairperson Geraldine Giles thanked Frank Browne for his "professionalism, vision and commitment he brought to the role".

Mr Browne himself has thanked the Westmeath County Board for the opportunity and for "the support and trust" shown to him throughout his time in the role.
