Tullamore GAA Club ran a relay marathon event last weekend to support it.
A fundrasier in honour of former Offaly GAA star Paddy Fenning has passed the €90,000 mark.
Tullamore GAA Club added a contribution of more than 8,000 euro through their relay marathon event at the weekend.
The initiative began last February in the hope of raising €150,000 to split between motor neurone disease research and support services along with local homeless services.
Their campaign was due to end with a walk along the canal in Tullamore last June but that is now going to be re-scheduled for later in 2021.
