GAA To Choose A President-Elect Tonight

Annual Congress in Croke Park starting this evening


The new President elect of the GAA will be elected at the Annual Congress in Croke Park tonight, with a motion to bring in a black card in hurling set to be defeated. 

Armagh's Jarlath Burns is seen as the front runner to become the new President. 

There are five candidates. Jim Bolger of Carlow, Mick Rock from Roscommon, New York GAA's Larry McCarthy, Jerry O'Sullivan of Cork and Jarlath Burns of Armagh.
