Germany's Bundesliga Will Return Behind Closed Doors This Month

It follows agreement between regional premiers and the German government.

Germany's Bundesliga will return behind closed doors in the second half of May.

Chancellor Angela Merkel held a conference call with the country's regional premiers this morning where the safety protocols surrounding 'ghost games' were agreed upon.

The Germany Football League will discuss an exact return date at a board meeting tomorrow.

Elsewhere across Europe, the The Turkish Super Lig will resume on June 12.

The Turkish FA are also holding out hope that Istanbul will still host this season’s Champions League final.

And the Serbian FA have confirmed a May 30 return for their top two divisions.
