Two Offaly boxers have been selected on the Irish team for the IABA’s inaugural World Boxing event in September.
Tullamore's Grainne Walsh and Daingean's Brian Kennedy were both chosen for the 17 strong team.
Olympian Walsh will compete in the 65kg division, while Brian Kennedy will be lining out in the 85kg class.
The event is set to take place on September 4th until the 14th in Liverpool, England .
