The Athlone man will join 21 of his Leinster team mates for the summer training squad.
Athlone's Robbie Henshaw has been named in Andy Farrell's 42-player Summer Training Squad.
The announcement came this afternoon as Ireland are set to begin their preparations for the upcoming World Cup in France in September.
The squad will train at their Dublin base through June and July, before they host Italy and England at the Aviva Stadium in August.
They will face Samoa in Bayonne in their final match before the tournament, before the opening match against Romania on 9th September.
