Henshaw will be aiming to win his starting berth back at inside centre for Ireland in this year's Six Nations.
Athlone's Robbie Henshaw has teased he may well consider a return to GAA action at the end of his rugby career.
The former Buccaneer looked in good touch for Leinster in their win over Leicester just two weeks out for Ireland's potentially decisive Six Nations opener against France.
Henshaw, who played for Athlone GAA and the Westmeath minors, believes he'd likely play in the forward line if and when he does return to the game.
He says he spoke to a former team mate about playing football after rugby, and he was worried by the feedback:
