The Leinster centre has been taking time out to help raise funds and awareness.
Robbie Henshaw says time off from rugby is one of the key ingredients to success on the pitch.
The Athlone man recently returned from South Africa after Leinster's URC semi-final defeat to the Bulls.
Henshaw and his Ireland team mates are heading back to same country for a two test series against the World Champions which gets underway in two weeks.
The former Buccaneers player has taken timeout since coming home to help support Dochas Offaly Cancer Support Centre.

He says events like that help keep a sense of perspective:
Robbie's interview with Midlands 103 will be broadcast in full on the Inside Line with Will O'Callaghan on Sunday.
Robbie Henshaw was speaking as a Dochas Cancer Support Centre ambassador at the launch of their Croke Park Abseil Challenge in Tullamore.
