Westmeath had an historic victory away to Limerick in the their first ever senior camogie championship game.
It ended 1-12 to 12 points in Bruff, Denise McGrath with the crucial goal after 25 minutes.
It also means the legendary Pamela Greville has now won a championship match in every level of competition.
They'll now head into a clash with last years All-Ireland finalists Kilkenny next weekend, full of confidence.
Speaking after the game manager Johnny Greville says they weren't phased by the step up to the top table:
Laois begin in the intermediate this weekend against Kildare, while Offaly don't begin their re-schedule championship campaign until November 1st against All-Ireland champions Galway.
