This year's Joe McDonagh champions are back on the pitch against Cork this weekend.
Offaly's senior hurling manager Johnny Kelly believes some of his more seasoned players deserve credit for their commitment to the Faithful County.
Jason Sampson and Cillian Keily played crucial roles in helping Offaly overcome Laois in Croke Park in the Joe McDonagh Cup final on Saturday, with Sampson lifting the Cup as Offaly captain.
Both players were involved in Offaly's failed attempt to win promotion from the Christy Ring Cup in 2020.
Kelly says they've earned the reward of promotion:
Offaly return to action in the All Ireland preliminary quarter-finals against Cork in O'Connor Park on Saturday at 5.15pm.
