The Offaly manager talks to Midlands 103 after a seismic championship defeat.
"It's hard to put your finger on it"
That's Declan Kelly's reaction to seeing his Offaly side fall to a historic defeat at the hands of London in Tullamore.
The former All Ireland under 20 winning manager says the travelling side "went through" Offaly as the Faithful County chased an ever increasing gap on the scoreboard.
London turned an 0-8 to 0-6 lead at the break, to a full time victory of 2-20 to 0-12.
The English side won the second half by 0-18 to 0-6.
That represented a first championship win since 2013 for London when they qualified for the Connacht final after beating Sligo.
Kelly says he sensed things were going awry early on.
He reviews a bad day out with Midlands 103's David Hollywood:
Offaly return to Tailteann Cup action in a must win game against Limerick in Rathkeele on Saturday.
