A lack of insurance options are halting the growth of Timbersports in Ireland.
That's the view of Timber Team Ireland captain Seamus Ryan who lead the country at the World Championships in France last week.
The Carlow man, along with Daragh Clogher, Portlaoise's Gavin Thompson and Patrick Fitzpatrick of Mountmellick represented Ireland in the stock saw, underhand and single standing blocks events in Toulouse.
Ryan says the team cannot pay for, let alone get a quote for insurance and it is dettering new players from getting involved in the sport:
