Rugby union hails announcement of 29 professional contracts as "Landmark Day".
There are a number of notable names missing from the list of senior women's internationals to have signed professional IRFU contracts.
The list was released via email by the union who have described it as a "Landmark Day".
Captain and Kilcormac woman Nichola Fryday, Rugby Writers' player of the year Neve Jones, and players' player of the year Sam Monaghan are absent from the list.
The contracts range in value from €15,000 to €30,000 per season before appearance fees and bonuses.
