Ireland Coach Wants To Remain Competitive In New tournament

Andy Farrell hasn't ruled out blooding some new players though.

Ireland head-coach Andy Farrell is welcoming the new eight-team international tournament due to take place this autumn.

His side are due to face England, Wales and Fiji in the pool stages of the competition in November. 

With Ireland set to complete their Six Nations campaign in October, it's been suggested that they might blood new players in the tournament.
