Girls in green beat Scotland with a dogged and astute performance.
The Republic of Ireland women's team have qualified for the World Cup finals for the first time in their history.

This was after goalkeeper Courtney Brosnan saved a first half penalty from Caroline Weir.
The finals will be staged in Australia and New Zealand next summer, with the draw to take place on Saturday week.
After the game, Barrett paid tribute to the people of Creeslough, following last Friday's tragedy in the county:
Vera Pauw is the first manager to lead an Irish women's team to a World Cup finals.
