Irish Open Needs To Be Put Back On The European Tour Schedule

That's the view of Shane Lowry who will only consider playing in the Irish Open this year, if that is the case.

Shane Lowry will only consider playing in the Irish Open this year if it's put back on the European Tour schedule.

The Offaly man is basing himself in the USA, with the PGA Tour to resume there with the Charles Schwab Challenge in Texas on June 11th.

He'll also have a temporary new caddie for the next months.

With his regular right-hand-man "Bo" Martin set to become a father soon, Darren Reynolds will carry the bag for the Open champion until July.
