The St Brigid's player was named captain at the start of the season.

Laois Camogie captain Clodagh Tynan says she was shocked to be named captain at the start of the year.

The O'Moore County are just over a week away from their All Ireland Final in the Premier Junior Camogie Championship against Armagh. 

Pat Collier and Robert Jones side had a convincing win over Wicklow in the semi final in the previous round and will be aiming to go one better than last season where they beaten by Tipperary in the decider. 

Tynan says it's been a pleasure to captain the side throughout the year:
