The Lake County are bottom of division two .

Westmeath Ladies are preparing for a must win clash with Tipperary this weekend in the National Football League Division three.

The Lake County currently sit bottom of the division where failure to win would mean their status in the second tier would be out of their hands.

Their Munster opponents come into the game on the back of picking up their first win of the campaign, the Premier County getting the better of Clare 2-6 to 0-7.

Westmeath manager Frank Browne expects a tight contest this weekend.

Throw in is at 2 o'clock at Sean Treacy Park on Sunday.
