The Lusmagh man is a two time All Ireland winner with Offaly.
Offaly's Joachim Kelly has been inducted into the Leinster GAA Hurling Hall of Fame.
Kelly had a lustriuous career as an Offaly player, winning two All Irelands, seven Leinster Senior medals, and a National Hurling League title during a 19-year career.
He also earned two all star awards in 1980 and 1984 and led Lusmagh to their first senior county title as player-manager in 1989.
The Lusmagh man also guided the Faithful to All-Ireland Junior and Intermediate titles and Senior Championship victories.
