Big Charity night in Portloaise this weekend
There are reports this morning that suggest that Westmeath light-heavy weight Joe Ward will make his comeback in Boston on March 14th against New Yorker Patrick Pierre.
Ward suffered a serious knee injury in his professional debut in Madison Square Garden in October and he has made a full recovery following extensive medical treatment.
There is a novel Charity Night in aid of the Holy Family Senior School Portlaoise Autistic Unit and the Irish Prison Service Boxing team this Saturday night the 7th March at the Midlands Hotel in Portlaoise.
The special night will see a Irish Prison Service Selection take on an Irish Army 3rd Batallion Selection.
It's 10 Euro to get in and it all starts at 7.30pm.
