A Westmeath boxer is set to make a return to the ring.
Moate's Joe Ward could be back in the ring in the next two months after signing a three year deal with promotional company Zuffa Boxing, which was founded by UFC Chief Executive Dana White.
The 32 year old currently sits with an impressive 12-1 professional record, but hasn't stepped in the ring since October 2024, with many of his scheduled fights postponed over the past year.
