Heslin's St Loman's side take on Coralstown Kinnegad in Mullingar on Sunday.
Westmeath's perennial county finalists will meet this year's league champions in the 2023 senior championship decider on Sunday.
St Loman's Mullingar, competing in their ninth straight final, will be looking to win back the crown they lost to The Downs last year.
Coralstown Kinnegad have been absent from the Lake County's blue riband football event since the late 90's.
Despite their time away from the senior championship final, Loman's talisman John Heslin says his team are under no illusions as to the strength of opposition they'll meet this weekend.
Speaking to the assembled media, including Midlands 103's Gerry Russell, ahead of the decider, Heslin begins by saying his team are motivated by last year's loss:
Throw-in is set for 2.15pm at TEG Cusack Park on Sunday.
Midlands 103 will have live commentary of the game on the Inside Line with Will O'Callaghan.
