Joseph's Players Can Proud - Mick Dempsey

The newly crowned Laois champions departed the Leinster championship on Saturday.

The St Joseph's player will look back on the season "with serious pride in their performance" says manager Mick Dempsey. 

The Laois champions were narrowly beaten by Carlow champions Eire Og 2-18 to 3-13 in their first Leinster Football championship match in 23 years on Saturday night. 

The game was taken to extra time after the two sides couldn't be separated after the original 60 minutes were played.
