Jota Out Of World Cup After Calf Injury

Liverpool forward's absence from Portuguese squad will be felt.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that forward Diogo Jota is out of the World Cup.

Klopp described the calf injury sustained by the Portuguese in the Premier League win against Manchester City as 'pretty serious'.

The German expects to be on the touchline for tomorrow's game against West Ham despite being red carded against City.

He spoke to the referee after the game and is awaiting the FA to contact him

Republic of Ireland defender Nathan Collins could return to action later after serving a three-match suspension.

His side Wolves are away to Crystal Palace in the Premier League tonight. kick off at Selhurst Park is at 8.15. 

There is one other game this evening as bottom club Nottingham Forest go to Brighton. 

There is a 7.30 start at the Am-Ex Stadium.
