Dispute keeps Mullins star out of action
The Racing Post is reporting this morning that Cheltenham Gold Cup favourite Kemboy could be banned from racing for the forseeable future as part of the ongoing dispute between the HRI and the horse's owners, The Supreme Horse Racing Club.
The seven year old is trained by Willie Mullins and has won seven of his 11 Grade One chases including at Punchestown and Aintree earlier in the year.
The horse was due to make his seasonal re-appearance this Saturday in Down Royal.
The HRI have suspended entries and declarations from the Supreme Horse Racing club with effect from October 21st.
