Kilbeggan Confirm Bumper 10-Race Schedule For 2022

A number of stars could make an appearance at the Westmeath track.

Kilbeggan Racecourse has confirmed its ten race calendar for 2022. 

Their season will run between April and September with a bumper two day Spring festival to kick things off. 

The most prestigious race of the year in Westmeath 'The Axa Farm Insurance Midlands National' will take place on Friday July 8th. 

It's been previously won by Irish Grand National Hero Freewheelin' Dylan and could be used as a prep run for a Grand National Hopeful from Ciaran Murphy's Mullingar stable aptly named Enjoy D'Allen. 

Here's a look at all the dates and provisional times so you can mark your calendar for the coming season.

Kilbeggan Races 2022 Meetings:

  • Thursday 21st April, first race 5.00 pm approx.
  • Friday 22nd April, first race 5.00 pm approx.
  • Friday 13th May, first race 5.15 pm approx.
  • Sunday 5th June, first race 2.20 pm approx.
  • Monday 13th June, first race 5.45 pm approx.
  • Friday 8th July, first race 5.45 pm approx.
  • Friday 15th July, first race 5.45 pm approx.
  • Saturday 6th August, first race 5:20pm pm approx.
  • Friday 19th August, first race 5:00 pm approx.
  • Friday 2rd September, first race 4:30 pm approx.
