The news is a big boost to the midlands track.
Kilbeggan Racecourse has received a boost with the allocation of its first-ever graded race.
The Axa Farm Insurance Midlands National tomorrow week, July 8th, has received Grade B status with an increased prize fund of €100,000.
The race is the centrepiece of the Kilbeggan Races calendar, and Managing Director Paddy Dunican says it's great to see the aim of having a graded race come to fruition.
The evening meeting also features the €25,000 Writech Group Handicap Hurdle.
