Kilcormac Killoughey And Ballinamere Will Be Big Favourites -Troy

Joe Troy breaks down this year's Offaly Senior Hurling Championship.

Midlands 103 commentator Joe Troy says it's hard to look beyond Kilcormac-Killoughey and Ballinamere as being the two favourites for this seaon's Offaly Senior Hurling Championship. 

The two sides met in last season's decider which went right down to the wire, with Kilcormac-Killoughey winning in the end by two points. 

Both sides get up and running this weekend, alongside Shinrone, St Rynaghs, Coolderry, Seir Kieran, Birr and Belmont.

Troy is expecting last season's finalists to make it there again. 

However, he has warned about the dangers of their closest challengers:

Seir Kieran vs Birr, July 11th, 7:00pm.

Ballinamere vs Coolderry, July 12th, 3:30pm.

GROUP TWO:

Belmont vs Kilcormac-Killoughey, July 12th, 1:30pm.

Shinrone vs St Rynaghs, July 12th, 5:00pm.
