The absence of competitions like the O'Byrne Cup next year will be keenly felt by footballers looking to adapt to the GAA's new rules according to Laois keeper, Killian Roche.
The Killeshin man heads into the 2025 season as the county's footballer of the year after an impressive campaign that saw Laois claim promotion to Division Three, and reach the Tailteann Cup final.
A raft of new rules, which will fundamentally affect the role of the goalkeeper in the game, are set to come in for the start of next year's league campaign.
